Welp, this is awkward, but apparently I never uploaded this. Oops! So sorry.

This is a photo I put behind a word that described my photo. I had a lot of fun learning how to make this. Unfortunately, people's faces don't work behind the words very well. Oh well.

Besler Motion Blur

I still have a lot of learning to do to make this perfect, but this is fairly decent.

Music

This is a mix of the soundtrack of, "The Lord of the Rings." I really love the soundtrack, and enjoyed mixing the music. I couldn't decide what music to mix, and since I am merely a beginner at mixing music, I didn't want to do songs with words. Enjoy!

High School Seniors

This website (http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2011/03/27/magazine/senior-class.html?_r=2&) has a variety of students, and what careers they are interested in going into. Some share about personal experiences while others merely talk about why they want to go into a certain field. If I was on this website, I would talk about education, and theater. I plan to major in Early Childhood Education, and minor in drama. I am very involved with Christian Youth Theater, which works with students ages 8-18. I hope that one day I would be able to direct for them, but we'll just have to see.

All about my CD

In Digital Design, we were learning how to mix music to make a CD. We got to design the front of the CD, and the cover, which is what is above. I had a lot of choices, music wise, that I could have used to create my own mix, but I chose "The Lord of the Rings" soundtrack. The music is epic, and fairly easy to mix. Once I get better at mixing music, I would be interested in doing more in depth mixes. I had a lot of fun with this program, and am grateful that I got to learn how to do it!

17 Year Old Millionaire

                                       


Nick D'Aloisio is a seventeen year old boy, who recently became a millionaire due to an app that he created. Summly is an app that searches through documents and then gives a summary of what the document contains. He has been hired by Yahoo! as the youngest employee they have ever had. Yahoo paid nearly $30 million for this app.

                               

Storybird

Storybird is a really cool website! I wrote a story about an Elephant, who's name was Bamboo, and we met all of her friends! I haven't gotten an embeded code yet, but if and when I do, I will re-post that!

Oh the places I've lived!

       


       In my life time I have lived in two different houses. Our first home is .64 miles from the new one. To drive it,  it takes 2 minutes if that long, not even joking! Our old house was a pinkish color, where as the new one is tan. As children both of my parents moved quite frequently. They hated it. My mother had three second grades. Neither one of them wanted their children to suffer the same way. When we moved, we went to the same school, in fact we moved a smidge closer than we were before. As much as I hated the new house, I eventually grew to love it. I am so grateful that my parents kept us in the same school district. They made the right choice!

My favorite SuperBowl commercial was probably the Clysdesdales: Brotherhood or Fashionista Daddy! They cracked me up! The Coke Chase was pretty funny too! I was super disappointed about how inappropriate some of the commercials were especially the Go Daddy! ones. I watch the SuperBowl for the ads, I do not want to see that stuff.

Facebook vs. the world.

In my social media life, Facebook definitely ranks first. I don't know about you guys but I primarily have a Twitter so I can upload photos with Instagram.

I love Facebook, but I do notice that I don't enjoy as much as I did when I first created it. Although I do spend more time on it, than I do Twitter or Instagram.

I love being able to upload photos to my Facebook via Instagram, but I don't even do that, that much.

To be completely honest I use Pinterest the most!

Telepresence technology is incredible! For students who are too ill to come to school, VGO allows them to go to class and to be with fellow students. It is very exciting that this type of technology has come about! The story of the little boy who has an illness, and cannot be in a public setting, really touches the lives of many people. It is so wonderful to know that he can be in a school environment and be with other children his age. It must be reassuring to his parents to know that their little boy can live a somewhat normal life!
